As summer fades and the first chill of autumn settles in, whispers of Albany’s haunted past come alive. Visitors and locals alike are invited to three nights of ghostly adventure through the city’s historic streets.

Tour Highlights

• Ghostly Walking Tour: A costumed guide will lead participants through the Monteith Historic District and the Historic Business District in downtown Albany, sharing eerie tales tied to the city’s past.

• Candlelit Finale: The tour concludes inside the Monteith House, Albany’s oldest and most haunted residence, where guests will hear accounts of ghostly encounters that have been told for generations.

Practical Information

• The walking route covers approximately one mile; comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

• Presales for October dates open to Monteith Historical Society members on September 1; public sales begin September 7.

• Tour Dates: August 16, October 10, and October 11

• Prices: Adults $15; Children (under 18) $10
